Refund Policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026
This policy explains when payments for jDent, a product by Jantrah Tech, can be refunded. The service is provided by Jantrah Tech Private Limited (Trading as jDent).
1. Try Before You Pay
Your first month on jDent is free. Nothing is charged during that period and no card details are required to start, so you can run your clinic on jDent for a full month before any money changes hands.
If jDent is not right for your practice, simply do not subscribe when the free month ends. There is nothing to cancel and nothing to pay.
2. How Payments Work
- Subscriptions are billed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR), on the billing cycle you choose: monthly, semi-annual or annual.
- Payment is made by bank transfer to our company account. This is the only method we accept for subscriptions. Our account details are sent to you with your invoice rather than published on this website.
- Payment is confirmed manually by our team before your subscription is extended. Once confirmed, your account continues without interruption.
- There is no setup fee and no per-user charge. Pricing is per clinic.
To avoid confusion: jDent lets your clinic record patient payments made by cash, JazzCash, EasyPaisa or bank transfer. That is a feature inside the software for your own billing. Your subscription to jDent is paid only by bank transfer to our company account.
3. When We Give a Full Refund
We refund in full in each of these cases:
- A duplicate payment or an overpayment. If you paid twice for the same period, or paid more than the amount due, the difference is returned.
- Payment received but the subscription was not activated. If we took your payment and your account was not extended, that payment is refunded in full.
- Pre-paid periods that have not started. On a semi-annual or annual plan, months you have paid for that have not yet begun are refundable.
- A long service outage caused by us. If jDent is unavailable for an extended period because of a fault on our side, we will refund or credit the affected part of your subscription, whichever you prefer.
4. When We Cannot Give a Refund
- A period that has already started. Once a billing period is under way, that period is not refundable. Any later pre-paid periods still are.
- An account closed for breaking the Terms. If we close an account for a breach of our Terms of Service, fees already paid are not refunded.
- Bank transfer charges. Any fee your bank deducts when sending or receiving a transfer is charged by the bank, not by us, and cannot be returned by us.
5. Cancelling Your Subscription
There is no contract and no cancellation fee. To stop using jDent, simply do not renew at the end of your current billing period. You do not need to give notice or explain your reasons.
What happens to your clinic data
If you do not renew, your clinic data is kept for 2 months from the date your subscription becomes inactive. During that period you can:
- Ask us for a copy of your data, so you can keep your patient records; or
- Resume your subscription and carry on from exactly where you left off, with nothing lost.
After 2 months of inactivity the data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered. If you think you may return, or you want an export, contact us before that period ends. We would rather hear from you early than have you ask for records that no longer exist.
6. How to Request a Refund
Ask within 30 days of the payment date, by email or WhatsApp. Please include:
- Your clinic name and the account the payment relates to
- The payment reference or transaction ID
- The date and amount paid
- The reason for the request
We reply within 3 working days. Once a refund is approved, it is returned by bank transfer to the account the payment came from, within 7 working days.

7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page always shows when it last changed. A refund request is assessed against the policy that was in force on the date you paid, so a change here never reduces the rights attached to a payment you have already made.
